The Weekes branch of the Hayward Public Library will be closed for renovations through March 31.
The facility will get new bookshelves and furniture, fresh paint, new floor coverings, baseboards, blinds, fencing and landscaping, according to a library press release Tuesday.
The library will also get new audio-visual equipment and improvements to the meeting room.
While the branch is closed, users can visit the downtown library at 888 C St. or the library’s virtual branch.
