Wine lovers from across Northern California will descend upon Redwood Valley when Mendocino County’s finest wine and spirits producers share their liquid wares at Saturday’s Taste Mendocino.

Organized by Mendocino Winegrowers in partnership with Visit Mendocino, Visit Ukiah and the Blue Zones Project, the event pairs locally produced wines and spirits with Mendocino County’s rich culinary traditions.

Twenty wineries and spirit producers will participate, including organic innovators Bonterra Organic Estates and Frey Vineyards, cult favorites Alta Orsa and Seawolf, local legends McNab Ridge Winery and Husch Vineyards, and crowd favorites Greenwood Ridge and Barra of Mendocino.

Schnaubelt Distillery and the Boonville Distillery will also offer sips of their gins, vodkas and other handcrafted spirits.

Sweet and savory food offerings from local chefs will be dotted between each beverage purveyor, offering plenty of tasty morsels for imbibers to enjoy between sips.

Taste Mendocino takes place Saturday, June 28, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Wyndham Garden Inn in Redwood Valley. Tickets are priced at $95 for general admission or $45 for designated drivers, and are available online. Prices go up to $105 at the door on the day of the event, if available.
