Free summer outdoor concerts are still happening across the region

With summer well underway, the season still boasts free outdoor concerts across the region. Here’s a quick roundup of some local live-music-at-no-cost offerings.  

FREMONT  

Pacific Commons’ 2024 Summer Concert Series offers free performances in the Block Plaza (near Koja Kitchen) from 7 to 9 p.m. Fridays in the shopping center at 43440 Boscell Road.

July 26: Neon Velvet (70s, 80s, 90s, contemporary hits) 
Aug. 23: East Bay Mudd (Classic Soul, R&B) 
Sept. 27: Foreverland (Michael Jackson Tribute)

HEALDSBURG  

Tuesdays in the Plaza weekly free concerts at Healdsburg Avenue and Matheson Street, Healdsburg, are from 6 to 8 p.m. Here’s the lineup:

Point Richmond’s Summer Music Series runs on the second Friday of each month from 5:30 to 8 p.m. downtown Point Richmond, Park Place between West Richmond and Washington avenues.

Golden Gate Park Bandshell‘s free, all-ages concerts are grouped by theme: singer-songwriter on Wednesdays from 4 to 7 p.m.; Friday happy hour from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. and reggae Sundays (and select Saturdays) from 4:20 to 7:30 p.m. Shows are in the Music Concourse at 75 Hagiwara Tea Garden Drive, San Francisco. Here’s the August lineup:

The city of Santa Rosa Public Art Program’s 29th annual Live at Juilliard free concert series runs Sundays from 5 to 7 p.m. in Juilliard Park, 227 Santa Rosa Ave. The lineup:
