Craig DeVinney will likely join incumbents Cindy Darling and Kevin Wilk on the Walnut Creek City Council.
Darling and Wilk were first and second in the race, with DeVinney in third for the three open seats as of Wednesday
Darling had 27.1% of the vote (17,764 votes) while Wilk’s had 25.62% (16,790).
DeVinney, an emergency room doctor, had 22.22% (14,565 votes).
Rounding out the field is Laura Patch with 13.88% (9,097 votes) and Brendan Moran, with 11.18% (7,331 votes).
With the Contra Costa County elections office reporting 100% of precincts reporting, results are still unofficial.
